Project SEARCH is designed for students aged 18-21 with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities who are completing their High School transition programs, with the purpose of meaningful integrated employment. Participants will learn employability skills while interning in a work environment that is inclusive and non-segregated. Project SEARCH is designed to establish a conclusive school year timeline for participants to learn the skills that will carry them to gainful employment.
Project SEARCH partners with Kalahari Resorts & Conventions to provide classroom space and internships. CESA 5 hires, trains, and supervises the instructors for this program.
